HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT SOCIAL NETWORK

Linkedin, Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, Foursquare...I can go on and on. When I look at social neworks I usually group them into different categories. I've always thought of Linkedin as the most "professional" social network where I put my resume up so I can potentially gain something business related. Facebook is a place where most people go to creep on girls, guys, or waste time in general looking at what people have been up to in their life (I'm guilty too)! Twitter I actually use as my number 1 news source. I honestly don't even read the paper or watch the news anymore because I follow the right people for the type of news I'm actually interested in and it's such a great resource for that. Here at WGN we're trying to unite people in a very specific niche as well: golf and business. By joining WGN you gain a database of people who want to use golf as a means of networking in their businesses. The best part of each social network I've mentioned so far (especially WGN) is that they're all COMPLETELY FREE!!! I'm not sure what else one can ask for when trying to combine business with pleasure! So check out all the social networks and use them each for their particular strengths and soon you will be a social network master like me!
